Emus are the second-largest living bird by height, after its ratite relative, the ostrich. They are curious, generally docile, and make a very interesting pet! Emus require a LOT of space to be content as they spend most of their time living a nomadic lifestyle in the wild. (Emus have been shown to travel long distances to reach abundant feeding areas.)
